(Hangs or sits in a stand)
THE IMAGE ON THIS MINI SURFBOARD WAS INSPIRED BY PELE THE HAWAIIAN GODDESS, ANCIENT STORIES TELL OF HER THE GODDESS OF FIRE, LIGHTNING, DANCE, WIND, VOLCANOES AND VIOLENCE. HER POETIC NAME IS KA WAHINE `AI HONUA OR THE WOMAN WHO DEVOURS THE LAND. SHE IS BOTH A CREATOR AND DESTROYER. SOME PEOPLE SAY THEY SEEN HER DANCING IN THE LAVA SPOUTING FROM THE CONES. I THOUGHT A PAINTING AS SUCH WOULD BE A GREAT TRIBUTE TO HER.
I love this piece and everyone I’ve showed it to loves it! The detail is amazing and a fun shape to display with other Hawaii art
I was very happy with the beautiful artwork I purchased. I cannot wait to buy more!
