this original painting is titled “Face of Pele” on a hand shaped 40” mini wooden surfboard.
This is inspired by the Kilauea volcano on the big island of Hawaii that is currently pouring lava into the ocean.
If you look closely you can see in the smoke above the volcano with the orange silhouette face of Pele.
These miniature surfboards are jade shaped here in Hawaii, hand painted by me on treated wood and sealed for export even to Australia and New Zealand.
